Dear Andrew:

The Golf Summit was a huge success. Your ability to address the issues facing the golf industry today throughout the country was wonderful. You were able to send a strong message to everyone in the room regarding the importance of working together in order to have facilities succeed in today’s market. You opened the eyes of everyone in the room to a whole new way of doing business in this great industry,helping us all to realize that as Owners, Committee Chairmen, Board Members, General Managers and PGA Golf Professionals, we must come together. We must think out of the box, work harder than we ever have, and change the old fashion ways of doing business.

These are hard times for all areas of this industry. But I firmly believe that because of this summit, we as leaders at our facilities are more qualified now to help our employers to succeed. I have personally developed an e-mail database to improve our communications at Skaneateles Country Club,and I hope to help my General Manager to improve our web site or develop my own.

Thanks to your inspirational presentation, I am excited about what I can do for my members and about the future of this wonderful game. The business of golf is not dead. It’s just time to change course. Thank you for sharing your time  and talents with us.
